Editorial Governance and Independence Policy
IJCSEAI is committed to maintaining transparent, independent, and academically responsible editorial governance. The journal ensures that editorial decisions are based exclusively on the scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and scholarly contribution of submitted manuscripts, and are not influenced by commercial interests, institutional affiliations, author status, nationality, personal relationships, or financial considerations.
The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) has overall responsibility for maintaining editorial standards, implementing journal policies, and ensuring the integrity and independence of the publication process. The EIC is supported by Senior Editors and Editorial Board Members with relevant subject expertise. Editorial responsibilities are distributed according to disciplinary competence, and no individual editor has unrestricted authority over the entire editorial process.
Editors are required to declare and appropriately manage any conflict of interest involving authors, reviewers, institutions, funding sources, or submitted manuscripts. Editors with a potential conflict are excluded from handling the relevant manuscript, and an independent editor is assigned whenever necessary.
Peer-review decisions are based on independent scholarly assessment. Authors cannot influence reviewer selection, and reviewers are expected to provide objective, confidential, and evidence-based evaluations. Editorial decisions are made independently of whether authors cite the journal, and IJCSEAI does not require, encourage, or pressure authors to cite IJCSEAI or particular editors.
The publisher provides administrative and technical support but does not interfere with editorial decisions. Advertising, sponsorship, publication fees, institutional relationships, or other commercial considerations have no bearing on acceptance or rejection decisions.
IJCSEAI periodically reviews its editorial governance, conflict-of-interest procedures, peer-review practices, and board composition to maintain transparency, accountability, international representation, and continuous improvement in accordance with recognized scholarly publishing standards.
No forced IJCSEAI Citations: The journal does not require authors to cite IJCSEAI articles.
No Editor/Reviewer Citation Coercion: Editors and reviewers can recommend citations only for genuine scholarly reasons.
No Artificial Citation Targets: There is no minimum citation requirement or citation target.
Monitoring + Consequences: The journal actively monitors suspicious patterns and has a defined procedure for investigation and corrective action.
